The Centre Manager for the Centre of Research Excellence in Paediatric Palliative Care (CRE-PPC) will coordinate and manage all operational functions of the centre.
The role involves liaising with staff and stakeholders to streamline operations and ensure the centre's effective functioning.

Our Cancer & Palliative Care Outcomes Centre encompasses four successful programs:Palliative CareChild and Youth Cancer and Palliative CareThis new role supports a recently funded Centre for Research Excellence within the Child and Youth Cancer and Palliative Care Program.
The program fosters collaboration among clinicians, researchers, and educators to improve health care quality across the cancer trajectory and for those with life-limiting conditions.
Our research emphasizes:Integrated Care ModelsHealth Workforce DevelopmentSymptom ManagementWe maintain strong partnerships with health service providers nationally and internationally, engaging with consumers, clinical partners, and health decision-makers through joint appointments and collaborative projects.What you need to succeedRelevant postgraduate qualifications or progress towards such, with extensive experience; or an equivalent combination of education and at least four years of relevant experience in a university or research environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders and preparing reports.Strong interpersonal and client service skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute positively to team culture.Financial management and budget experience, analytical skills, and proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle Financials, PURE) and Microsoft Office.Research project management experience, including interpreting contracts and designing project processes.High-level organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and support Centre activities efficiently.Life at QUTWe foster a culture of connection and purpose.
