Job Summary
The Infrastructure Network Manager is responsible for maintaining and assessing the quality of Council's infrastructure network. This role plays a key part in ensuring the sustainable management of Council's civil assets, allowing our community to stay connected and services to run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct surveillance and condition assessment inspections across Council's civil infrastructure network, capturing and analyzing data on defects, risks, failures, and maintenance needs.
2. Respond to customer service requests and investigate reported issues, ensuring all actions align with Council's service and reporting protocols.
3. Ensure accurate and timely upload of asset assessment data to the Asset Management System to inform future planning and investment decisions.
4. Assist in developing and implementing condition assessment policies and procedures for specific asset groups.
5. Support management in developing operational, service, and maintenance programs, including scoping and preparing cost estimates.
6. Contribute to strategic planning and long-term sustainability of Council's asset base.
Requirements
* Qualifications relevant to the role (e.g., Certificate III Information Technology or Spatial / Environment).
* Class C Driver's Licence.
* General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Asset Management (desirable).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Solid time management, planning, and administrative skills.
