Your Role
We're looking for a talented and motivated Cook / Chef to join our busy kitchen team. You'll work closely with our Head Chef to deliver consistently delicious meals, support menu development, and maintain the high standards our guests love.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook dishes from our breakfast, brunch, and lunch menus with creativity and efficiency.
* Assist in menu specials and seasonal updates.
* Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with food safety standards.
* Manage prep, stock rotation, and minimise waste.
* Work collaboratively with the team during busy services.
Requirements
* Prior experience in a café, bistro, or restaurant kitchen (breakfast/brunch service a big plus).
* Solid cooking techniques, knife skills, and plating presentation.
* Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
* Team player with a positive attitude and communication skills.
* Flexibility for weekends and holiday shifts.
* Relevant food handling certifications (e.g., Food Safety / ServSafe or equivalent).
* Minimum 1-2 years of kitchen experience required.
* Must have current Australian work rights.
