As a Clinical Trials Assistant you will be responsible for processing of clinical trial research laboratory samples, data entry for allocated studies and maintaining essential records. The Clinical Trials Assistant is expected to:
Manage the data entry as per the study guidelinesProcess biological specimens as per study manualsCoordinate with trial coordinators to ensure timely accurate data entry and specimen collectionsOrganise study sample shipment and maintain laboratory equipmentMaintain effective and efficient processes that ensure quality research and data integritySupport the trial team and department researchers with trial related administrative dutiesCommunicate effectively with the trial team, department, trial sponsors, supporting departments within hospital and relevant external parties.

Selection criteria
Relevant qualification in data management, data science, or a related field, or working towards such a qualification, or equivalent experience.Demonstrated experience in biological laboratory techniques and accurate data recording.Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.Well‑developed communication, computer, and problem‑solving skills, including sound judgement, initiative, and effective written and verbal communication.
Employment details
Salary Classification: Administration Officer - Level 4 Year 1-2
Remuneration: $37.91 to $38.78 per hour + super + annual leave loading
