Sales Executive – Internal
About the Role
Reporting to: State Manager, Western Australia. Employment Type: Permanent, full‐time. The Sales Executive – Internal is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, driving sales growth, and promoting CMA CGM Group's services and value‐added solutions.
Responsibilities
* Managing and growing a portfolio of existing customers to achieve sales targets.
* Identifying and securing new business opportunities across import and export markets.
* Promoting CMA CGM Group services and value‐added solutions (e‐commerce, intermodal, CEVA).
* Conducting regular client calls and maintaining accurate records in CRM systems.
* Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts and sales action plans.
* Monitoring competitor activity and providing insights to the State Manager.
* Collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service delivery.
Qualifications
* Minimum 1 year experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics, ideally in sales or customer service.
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and convert opportunities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in negotiations.
* Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
* High level of organisation, attention to detail and time‐management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
* A proactive, self‐motivated attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team.

* Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
