Role Overview
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of four hotels, supporting venue managers across all departments, and ensuring consistency of service and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:-
Ensuring compliance with all gaming and liquor legislation in South Australia;Responsibility for group and individual venues P&L;’s, continuing the businesses focus on tight cost controls to ensure financial efficiency and sustainability;Reviewing and approving payroll, invoices, supplier payments, and working with Managers to ensure target margins are achieved.Travelling regularly to each venue, with increased involvement during peak seasonal periods;Managing a HR function; providing support across all venues, confidently resolving staff issues as they arise;Forming and maintaining strong relationships with key industry bodies and major suppliers.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
The successful candidate must have significant experience in senior hospitality management, ideally within multi-venue hotel operations, and demonstrate strong leadership with the ability to inspire and support large and diverse teams. Strong expertise in financial and budget management, along with a strong understanding of compliance requirements in gaming, food safety, and workplace health and safety. Excellent stakeholder management, a results-driven mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a desire to develop into a future company leader will be essential to success in this role.
