Worthy Engineering is a mining services repairer, operating a team of 70 employees from large workshop facilities in Kalgoorlie and Perth. Due to continued growth, Worthy Engineering Services are seeking suitably experienced Fitter/Machinists, with hydraulic cylinder experience, to join our dynamic friendly team in our Perth (Henderson) workshop, on a full-time basis.
This is a hands-on, workshop-focused, role working on the repair, machining, and assembly of hydraulic cylinders and components in a well-equipped facility alongside a skilled crew.

About the Position
• Responsible for working safely and in accordance with company procedures and practices.
• Operating manual lathe/milling machinery.
• Operating a hydraulic cylinder bench
• Delivering high quality work to specified standards, sizes and finishes.
• Working on the overhaul, repair and manufacture of mining equipment/machinery.
• Accurately maintain detailed reports associated paperwork with rebuild or repair tasks.

To be considered for this role, candidates must:
• Hold a relevant Australian Fitter/Machinist Trade Certificate (or equivalent)
• Have comprehensive knowledge of engineering and fabrication solutions, with the ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Be a team player with the ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team to deliver a high level of workmanship
• Hold a current C class manual driver’s license
• Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Have the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
