Exercise Physiologist – Role Overview
This is a permanent part‐time role (3 days) covering clients in the Illawarra/South Coast Region. You may work from our Horsley or Nowra office.
As an Exercise Physiologist you'll be a valued member of our growing restorative care team, working closely with a multi‐disciplinary team to provide individualised EP services to people in the community.
Responsibilities
* Autonomous structure of day while managing a broad and varied caseload.
* Client home visits and group activities in settings such as in‐home rehabilitation or clinic.
* Deliver person‐centred care that promotes continuous quality improvement aligned with HammondCare and AHPRA values.
* Manage clinical issues, ensuring client care needs are met and escalated appropriately.
* Liaise with relevant health professionals to provide comprehensive care services.
Qualifications and Experience
* Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology, including current ESSA accreditation, or equivalent sound knowledge in a rehabilitation or aged care setting.
* Strong communicator; able to plan and manage time effectively.
* Enjoy working independently and as part of a multi‐disciplinary team.
* Access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver's licence and safe driving record to travel between client homes and HammondCare locations (travel costs reimbursed).
