About the role
Mabrouk and Sons' is seeking an experienced Butcher to join our team in Slacks Creek, QLD. As a full-time Butcher, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and high-quality meat preparation to our loyal customers.
What you'll be doing
* Cutting, trimming, and preparing a variety of meats to customer specifications
* Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to guide customers in their selections
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked work area
* Ensuring compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
* Collaborating with the team to optimise workflows and inventory management
* Assisting with other store operations as needed
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Butcher in a retail or commercial setting
* Strong knowledge of meat cuts, preparation techniques, and food safety practices
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide knowledgeable recommendations
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
* Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
