The Role
We're looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Delivery Truck Driver.
Having a good knowledge of North-East Victoria and Southern NSW Riverina, you'll deliver seed, fertiliser and chemical from our warehouse direct to farmers.
Holding a HR truck licence, you'll be a seasoned professional at loading and unloading trucks.
You'll be known for taking an efficient but cautious approach to driving vehicles and operating equipment and will have a reputation for treating all machinery and equipment like it's your own.
Key responsibilities include:
Timely delivery of products to farmers as per agreed delivery schedule;
Load and unload deliveries from truck and complete relevant documentation;
Ensure customer expectations are met;
Work collaboratively with logistic teams;
Report hazards and/or incidents in timely manner to mitigate further risks;
Ensure delivery truck is maintained to satisfactory condition;
In addition to driving, you will be expected to regularly pick and pack orders and assist with warehouse duties.
Who are you?
You have a HR truck licence.
You must have Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this role.
Ideally you have a Forklift Licence and/or are experienced operating a tractor front end loader (beneficial not essential).
1-2 years' experience driving heavy-rigid trucks.
Ability to engage with farming customers from diverse backgrounds.
You're responsive to farmer expectations and/or requests.
Present in a courteous, reliable and professional manner with a customer-first mentality.
Willing to work in a team environment and without supervision.
