Salary : $70,000 - $85,000 a year Nestled on the edge of the Greater Blue Mountains National Park and Hunter Valley Wine Country is the Salter Brothers Hospitality collection of distinctive luxury accommodations and restaurants encapsulating heritage, indulgence and character at its best.
The properties are unique to the Blue Mountains and Hunter Valley regions and provide an immersive journey through Australia’s most visited tourism destinations. “Echoes Boutique Hotel and Restaurant / Hydro Majestic Hotel / Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort and Spa / Parklands Country Gardens and Lodge / The Convent Hunter Valley / Milton Park Country House Hotel & Spa” Salter Brothers Hospitality Group is seeking experienced Cook (All Cook role including Commi and Demi Chef) to join their teams.
Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities: Confidence in their cooking abilities Creativity and high presentation standards
Ability to create dishes with consistency Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes
Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements Train and manage junior cooks and kitchen staff. Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality
To be considered for the position you must possess the following: At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery
Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure environment Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry Possess effective communication skills with an approachable manner
