About the Role
As an ISS Support Worker at The Grove Academy, you'll provide focused care and support for children with additional needs. You'll work closely with families, educators, and external specialists to create a nurturing, inclusive environment that fosters growth and learning for every child.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing one-on-one support to children with additional needs
* Collaborating with families, educators, and therapists to implement strategies
* Observing and documenting children's progress and communicating needs effectively
* Creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for all children
* Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and policies
Skills & Experience
We're looking for someone with patience, empathy, and dedication to making a difference. To excel in this role, you'll need:
* Experience supporting children with additional needs in a childcare or educational setting
* Strong collaboration and communication skills
* A positive, compassionate, and proactive approach
* Knowledge of inclusion practices and relevant frameworks (preferred)
* A passion for creating an inclusive and supportive environment
The positions we have available for ISS are as follows, with an expiry of 22 January 2026:
1 x Part Time - Monday -Friday (15 hours per week)
