Our client is a multinational and are leaders in the plastic injection moulding industry, family owned and established for over 40years. Located in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, the company produces a wide variety of plastic products for some very well-known household brand names.
They are accredited to ISO Quality Standards and operate in a large modern facility with robotics and have an in-house tool room.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Plastic Injection Moulding Technician / Die Setter to join their die setting team.
Must have
Sound knowledge and experience in plastic injection moulding.
Be highly motivated, and experienced moulding technician with proven expertise and skill in setting up machines, starting and applying continuous quality control improvement to the daily injection moulding processes coupled with a proven track record within a manufacturing environment. Key selection criteria:
Injection moulding experience and solid knowledge of plastic technologies and materials.
* Strong mechanical aptitude.
* Demonstrated commitment to Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Control.
* Ability to problem solve and have prior experience in conducting Die trials.
* Be a team player, have a positive work ethic and be an excellent communicator.
* Possess current forklift license and have experience in using overhead cranes.
