ASIC is the regulator that protects consumers and promotes market integrity across Australia.
Responsibilities Day-to-day conduct of ASIC's administrative law or civil litigation, including collating evidence, drafting pleadings, affidavits, statements and other Court/Tribunal documents.
Briefing and working with counsel, expert witnesses and attending Court/Tribunal hearings.
Providing strategic advice and guidance to the Commission in relation to ASIC's administrative law or civil litigation.
Advising Enforcement & Compliance teams regarding the conduct of investigations.
Qualifications Up to 5 years post-admission experience and hands-on litigation experience; admitted to practice in the High Court, Federal Court and State Supreme Courts.
Strong technical legal, communication and organisational skills.
Commitment to providing superior client service.
Real interest in making a difference through important regulatory litigation with a consumer protection focus.
