We are seeking an accomplished employment lawyer to join our dynamic team in Sydney. As a key member of our legal team, you will work on a broad range of employment and workplace relations matters, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients. Your expertise will be essential in advising clients on employment law matters, including industrial relations, workplace policies, unfair dismissals, and discrimination claims.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising clients on complex employment law issues, including contractual agreements and disputes resolution.
* Assisting with employment-related litigation, including representation in relevant tribunals and courts.
* Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, workplace policies, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Providing strategic guidance on workplace investigations, compliance, and risk management strategies to minimize liability and promote a positive work environment.
* Collaborating with clients to develop effective solutions for workplace restructuring, redundancies, and enterprise bargaining agreements.
* Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and developments in employment law to provide innovative and commercially focused advice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 2–5 years PQE in employment law gained at a reputable UK or Australian law firm or in-house team.
* Excellent communication and client management skills with the ability to provide clear and concise advice.
* A proactive and collaborative approach with the ability to work independently when required.
