The Chance – Environmental Advisor

Are you passionate about protecting the environment and driving safe work practices? Join ART, where safety, sustainability, and integrity are at the heart of everything we do.

We are seeking a motivated HSE Advisor to provide specialist environmental support across projects, fabrication workshops, and field operations. This is a hands-on role working closely with managers, supervisors, and frontline teams to ensure compliance with legislation and minimise environmental impacts.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct environmental assessments, audits, and site inspections.
- Advise project and operational teams on environmental management plans.
- Analyse incidents and audit data, recommending improvements.
- Coach and mentor supervisors and employees on HSE practices.
- Promote a strong safety and sustainability culture across the business.

What You Bring to the Team

Qualifications & Experience:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an environmental/HSE role.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of environmental and HSE legislation, standards, and systems.
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, and environmental monitoring.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- White Card (Construction Induction) and current driver’s licence.
- (Desirable) Certificate IV in WHS and/or ICAM investigation experience.

- Strong report writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational skills to balance multiple priorities.
- Clear and confident communicator, able to engage at all levels.
- Safety-first mindset – proactive about protecting people and the environment.

- Collaborative – works well with managers, supervisors, and frontline employees.
