Salary: $104,000 per year as a total package, along with a healthy bonus structure.
The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role ensures safe, continuous, and efficient plant operations by providing technical expertise across the maintenance team, procedures, plant equipment, and facilities.
Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance on assembly machines.
* Ensure that planned maintenance is completed as per the maintenance schedule.
* Maintain a strong safety mindset and work safely (including understanding safety improvement activities, Job Safety Analysis/Safe Work Method Statements).
* Oversee contractors and issue work permits.
* Assist in the development and implementation of new plant initiatives by providing technical skills and constructive input.
Qualifications
* Committed to positively contributing to a safe, inclusive and high-performance culture.
* Trade certificate in Electrical, Electrical Fitting or Mechanical fitting, or experience as a maintenance technician/service technician.
* Experience in pneumatic systems and control (desirable).
* Knowledge of automation.
* Basic computer literacy using Microsoft Office and SAP (desirable).
* Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics (highly desirable).
* Experience in continuous operations maintenance team.
* Genuine appreciation of workplace safety management.
* Positive, proactive, solution-focused attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Ability to cover shift work and overtime when required.
* Success in passing QLD Explosives Security Clearance, Drug & Alcohol test, and Physical fitness checks.

Location
Helidon, Southeast Queensland. The facility is located near the Warrego Highway, adjacent to the QLD DEEDI Explosive Reserve and 1 km from the domestic freight provider. The site covers 400 acres and is purpose-built for the safe assembly and distribution of Nonel detonator assemblies.
