About the role
Australian Red Cross emergency services support communities before, during, and after disasters by providing immediate relief, psychosocial support, and long‐term recovery planning.
This role represents an opportunity to work on a variety of short‐term projects within the Emergency Services team. This role requires the ability to produce high‐level written reports and to effectively negotiate and collaborate with key external stakeholders.
The successful applicant will have a broad sector understanding and demonstrate well‐developed organisational skills, along with the ability to adapt to fast‐paced and dynamic environments.

* Demonstrated sound technical knowledge, expertise and understanding of disaster resilience and community development principles
* Experience in building and maintaining collaborative relationships across sectors
* Excellent advocacy and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
