This pivotal HRIS Manager role is responsible for the strategic direction, governance, and operational management of SAP SuccessFactors. The successful candidate will leverage their business acumen and technical expertise to enhance the functionality and integration of HRIS solutions across the organisation. Working closely with leaders from People & Culture, Finance & Infrastructure, and Information Technology, you will play a crucial role in understanding business processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance requirements. A primary focus is on managing the support team to ensure effective service delivery, including defect resolution, implementing change requests, ensuring system accuracy, and providing technical advice on future development plans. This role is crucial for establishing governance, structure, and delivery within the system support function. Key Accountabilities: The HRIS Manager is accountable for business-focused delivery through: System Oversight & Optimisation: Overseeing the day-to-day operation of SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring system functionality supports people management and achieves optimal performance. This includes providing expert guidance on SuccessFactors best practices, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Strategic Improvement: Identifying, shaping, and implementing system improvements and enhancements in alignment with business objectives. Payroll & Integration Management: Overseeing payroll system functionality and managing interfaces with external systems, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and accuracy. Analytics & Reporting: Overseeing the analytics and reporting functionality associated with Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP), utilising tools like Stories in People Analytics and Spinifex. This involves collaborating with key stakeholders to improve reporting capabilities and resolve problems. System Integrity: Monitoring system performance, identifying and implementing improvements, and ensuring data security and system integrity through appropriate controls. Support & Knowledge Management: Coordinating defect resolution within agreed-upon timelines, and contributing to policies, developing procedures, training materials, and technical documentation to support business requirements and knowledge management. Stakeholder Management: Initiating, influencing, and maintaining effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to proactively manage needs, expectations, and mitigate risks and complex issues. Required Standards & Qualifications The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial skills with technical expertise to drive success in this role. A minimum of 5 years of experience managing HRIS platforms, with a strong emphasis on SAP SuccessFactors. Proven experience in system configuration, data management, and project implementation. Deep knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors modules, including Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, Recruitment and Onboarding, and LMS (Learning Management System). Proficiency in HRIS integrations and data exchange protocols (e.g., APIs – Application Program Interface, SFTP – Secure File Transfer Protocol). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. Excellent project management and organisational skills.
