Offer description

Job Title: Permits Coordinator

This role involves ordering, administering and preparing pre-construction documentation for clients.

* Coordinate end-to-end applications for building and covenant approvals to ensure smooth submission and compliance process
* Liaise with councils, certifies and external professionals to secure necessary approvals and keep projects moving on time
* Work closely with Project, Contract and Drafting teams to capture citations and reflect approval changes in plans
* Prepare and submit documentation to satisfy inspections, occupation certificates, and council requirements
* Provide management with accurate progress updates and forecasts using systems such as Businesscraft and Laserfiche
* Carry out key administrative functions including reporting, purchase orders and processing project documentation

* Previous experience as a Permit Coordinator
* Admin experience, preferably in the building and construction industry
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* The ability to work under pressure successfully managing multiple clients and prioritising effectively
* Sound knowledge in computer and Microsoft office skills
* Ideally some knowledge of the residential construction industry, building materials and supply and co-ordinating trades
