Job Description
The Senior FP&A Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the GM of Planning & Performance by partnering with finance business partners and senior leaders to drive business performance through thought leadership and reporting & analysis.
As a key go-to partner, this role is crucial in re-establishing business-wide reporting, tracking of key business drivers, and forecasting aligned with the company's investment priorities and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the GM Planning & Performance in developing the reporting framework across the organization, ensuring consistency and accuracy in financial and operational reporting.
Regularly engage with Finance Business Partners to understand departmental needs and facilitate transformational changes.
Prepare and analyze periodic financial reports comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts; provide insight on key variance drivers and opportunities for improvement.
Work with Finance Business Partners and departmental heads to refine and report on performance metrics and budgets, identifying risks that may impact outcomes.
Support planning and forecasting by contributing to financial models, trend analysis, and scenario analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in setting and reporting on business-wide Objectives and Key Results (OKRs); track monthly performance.
Utilize financial modeling tools, data analysis techniques, and ERP systems to analyze large datasets, interpret trends, and extract actionable insights.
Collaborate with departments such as Technology, Finance, People & Talent, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to gather data and align financial objectives with business goals.
Identify process improvement opportunities, automation, and streamlining to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial insights.
Qualifications
We seek a proactive leader who loves innovation, takes urgency and ambiguity with a mission to drive change, and scales at fast pace.
8–10+ years of experience in FP&A or big-4/mid-market deal teams.
Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
Professional certification (CFA/CA).
Experience in financial planning and analysis, including proficiency in 3-way modeling.
Strong stakeholder communication skills, ensuring transparency and alignment on goals.
Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Strategic thinker with results orientation in a cross-functional environment.
Comfortable managing ambiguity and solving complex problems independently.
Collaborative, adaptable, proactive, and highly accountable.
