Sanitation Professionals
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as sanitation professionals, working in early childhood education and care centres.
About the Role
* Cleaning floors using manual or mechanical cleaning equipment (mops, vacuum cleaners, floor cleaners) and ensuring they are spotless and hygienic.
* Emptying rubbish and recycling bins, replacing bin liners and keeping them clean and free from odours.
* Laundering and folding linen and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and materials.
* Dusting and tidying all assigned areas, rooms, and furniture to create a welcoming environment.
* Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and kitchens to maintain high standards of hygiene.
* Washing windows, walls, mirrors, and glass surfaces to ensure they are streak-free.
Maintaining safe handling and storage of chemicals and cleaning products, responding to scheduled and ad-hoc cleaning requests, and contributing to a clean and healthy environment for children and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure cleanliness and organisation of work areas and facilities.
* Report any issues with cleaning equipment or supplies to management.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
