Position Description Position Title: Head of Marketing Position Status: Permanent Full Time Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer Location: Sydney Purpose of the Role: MyCISO is transforming how security leaders manage their security programs. We’re a fast-growing SaaS company delivering practical solutions to help CISOs and their teams build security resilience with clarity and control – knowing what to do, how to do it and when to do it. Our platform, SecurityOS, is used by customers across ANZ and expanding globally. The Head of Marketing will own MyCISO’s marketing strategy and execution to build brand credibility and deliver measurable pipeline growth. Lead campaigns, content, digital programs, events and partner marketing in close alignment with Sales, Product/Technical and the exec team. The role is hybrid but a strong in-office presence is essential for collaboration with the wider team, typically 3 days per week. Major Accountabilities 1. Strategy, Planning & Budget Define marketing strategy aligned to business targets. Build quarterly plans (campaign calendar, audiences, channels, assets, resourcing). Manage budget and suppliers. Set measurement approach and continuously improve performance. 2. Demand & Pipeline Run integrated campaigns across digital, content, outbound support, partners and events. Define segments and ensure data quality. Ensure Sales handoffs are clear and timely. Drive consistent MQL & SQL volume and improve MQL→SQL→Opportunity conversion. 3. Content & Brand Own messaging and brand voice across all channels. Maintain a content calendar aligned to campaigns and product priorities. Produce/direct creation of website copy, campaign assets, sales collateral and customer proof. 4. Content Marketing Contribute to the creation of a content calendar, map out copy requirements and plan to create the content in line with marketing campaigns. Work with the MyCISO team and external suppliers to create copy for website, campaigns, social media and other collateral. Work with the MyCISO team to create assets, web pages and other collateral aligned to company branding to support marketing campaigns. 5. Digital & marketing ops Own marketing automation and reporting (Pardot) and CRM alignment (Salesforce). Improve website conversion and lead capture; manage nurture programs and email journeys. Maintain SEO fundamentals and analytics to guide decisions. 6. Partners, events & webinars Build and execute joint marketing plans with key partners (incl. MDF where applicable). Plan and deliver events/webinars end-to-end with measurable outcomes. 7. Reporting Weekly performance reporting (pipeline, conversion, channel performance, ROI). Fortnightly alignment with Sales on lead follow-up and learnings. Quarterly results, insights and next-quarter plan. Outcomes and measures Quarterly plan confirmed by quarter start. Predictable campaign cadence with clear targets. Marketing-sourced pipeline averages 33% of total target pipeline, with a 4:1 conversion ratio and improving over time. Professional skills, qualifications and experience B2B SaaS marketing leadership with ownership of pipeline outcomes. Strong campaign execution across digital, content, events and automation. Data-driven optimisation mindset; solid grasp of funnel metrics. Salesforce Pardot experience preferred; SEO analytics preferred. Strong stakeholder management and execution discipline.
