Due to rapid expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic Embroidery Machine Operator to join our team and help grow our business. This role is full-time working Monday to Friday at our Wallsend location. Experience in a similar role is preferable but training can be provided to the right candidate.
Job Description:
As an Embroidery Operator at Hip Pocket Workwear, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining embroidery machines to produce high-quality designs on clothing and headwear. You will work closely with the sales & production team to ensure all orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
About the role:
1. Operate embroidery machines to complete production orders.
2. Set up and load designs into the machine software, ensuring accurate placement and alignment.
3. Select and prepare appropriate thread colors, needles, and other materials for each job.
4. Monitor machine operation and adjust settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
5. Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines, including cleaning and troubleshooting.
6. Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring that all designs meet company and customer standards.
7. Collaborate with the production and sales teams to meet deadlines and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
8. Maintain a clean and organised work area, following all safety protocols.
9. Ensure supplies are stocked as required.
10. Perform other tasks in the business as required.
