About the Role
You will be responsible for:
* Installing, testing, and maintaining fire detection and alarm systems
* Fault finding and programming fire indicator panels (Ampac, Pertronic, Notifier)
* Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards (e.g. AS 1670, AS 1851)
* Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and accurate documentation
* Working across a variety of sites including education, aged care, residential, healthcare, social housing, and fit-outs
This is a hands-on, autonomous role, supported by an experienced and high-performing team
About You
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of their role. You will bring:
* QLD Electrical Licence or QBCC Fire Occupational Licence
* Experience in installing and maintaining fire detection systems across commercial sites
* Ability to read plans, follow scopes, and meet project timelines
* Strong time management and communication skills
* Current driver's licence, White Card, and EWP ticket
* Familiarity with fire indicator panels (Ampac, Pertronic, Notifier) and relevant Australian Standards
* A reliable work ethic and strong attention to detail
