Safety Leadership Role
This role is pivotal in driving compliance, supporting accreditation processes, and mentoring teams to drive continual improvement and standards.
* Develop and implement policies, procedures, and safety management systems to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
* Conduct regular site inspections, hazard-identification, and risk assessments, and manage corrective actions following incidents or unsafe conditions.
* Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses for accidents or safety failures; report findings and ensure lessons learned are implemented.
* Design and deliver safety training programs to ensure all staff and contractors are current and competent.
* Monitor and report on HSEQ performance, safety KPIs, and incident statistics - prepare reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Manage organisational change processes when introducing new plant, equipment, procedures, or systems - ensuring risk assessments and safety compliance.
* Provide expert advice and support on HSEQ matters - promoting a proactive, safety-first environment.
* Coordinate audit programs, certification activities, and maintenance of accurate HSEQ documentation and records.
