Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth in the commercial fitout sector.


Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the workplace and commercial fitout sector.
* Develop and execute strategies to expand our client base and increase market share.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key institutional real estate players, property managers, and other stakeholders to generate new leads and business opportunities.
* Lead the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation. Present proposals and manage tender submissions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Utilise this knowledge to identify potential opportunities and threats.
* Collaborate closely with project management and design teams to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded. Facilitate smooth transitions from sales to project execution.
* Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market insights to senior management.


Requirements:

* Demonstrated experience in sales within the commercial construction or fitout industry, with a strong understanding of the sales cycle and client acquisition.
* Proven network and relationships with institutional real estate professionals, property managers, and other key stakeholders.
* Deep knowledge of workplace and commercial fitout trends, project requirements, and market dynamics.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas, negotiate contracts, and build rapport with clients.
* Highly motivated and proactive, with a strong drive to achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's growth.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Construction Management, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
