1 - Entry-Level Laboratory Technician
This fulltime role is perfect for motivated individuals looking to enter the industry. You'll receive on-the-job training, mentorship from experienced professionals, and the opportunity to complete a company-funded Certificate III in Laboratory Skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with soil, aggregate, and concrete preparation
* Perform basic laboratory testing
* Support field technicians on local construction projects and quarry sampling
* Conduct laboratory preparation and site sampling in accordance with AS1289, AS1012, AS1141, and QLD Main Roads standards
About You
* Australian work authorisation
* Basic Microsoft Office skills
* Physical ability to lift heavy loads
* Mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
* Current driver's licence and ability to pass drug/alcohol screening
* Construction Blue/White Card (or willingness to obtain)
* Willingness to travel (if required)

2 - Experienced Laboratory/Field Technician
This full-time role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in geotechnical or construction materials testing. You'll play a key role in both field and laboratory operations, ensuring accurate sampling, testing, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct field investigations, including sampling, logging, and testing of soil, rock, and water
* Perform laboratory testing to Australian and international standards
* Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
* Document and report findings accuratelyAssist with technical reports and collaborate with project teams
* Contribute to continuous improvement of procedures
About You
* Relevant tertiary qualification (geology, environmental science, engineering)
* Minimum 3 years' experience in geotechnical or materials testing
* Current driver's licence and ability to pass drug/alcohol screening
* Proficiency with laboratory equipment
* Strong attention to detail and communication skills
* Willingness to travel (if required)
