Better Connect aims to deliver comprehensive, integrated, and person-centred care across the CCQ region (Central Queensland, Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast). It addresses service gaps for the 'missing middle' by enhancing accessibility and integrating primary mental health care, psychosocial support, and early intervention.

The consortium, led by EACH, includes eight partners: Central Queensland Indigenous Development, Flourish Australia, Gympie Women's Health Centre, Open Minds Australia, Queensland Injectors Health Network, REFOCUS Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Services, Wellways Australia and Stride Mental Health. This diverse coalition enhances service delivery through comprehensive, community-focused care.

Requirements
">
">
* Must have one of the following: Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist, OR, AASW registration/eligibility as a Social Worker, OR, Level 2 ACA registration/eligibility
">
* Knowledge and understanding of the theory underpinning evidence-based interventions and clinical practice as well as demonstrated excellence in the practical application of such, in the areas of mental health and alcohol and drug use
">
* Highly developed communication (including written) and interpersonal skills
">
* The ability to engage with people, advocate on their behalf and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, clients, families & friends and stakeholders
">
* Experience in the use of electronic client/customer management systems, ability to use a desktop computer, and experience with Microsoft Office applications
">
* Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card for paid employment
">
* Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance for paid employment
