We are seeking a Survey Project Manager to lead our survey team and oversee projects of varying sizes and complexities. This role offers flexibility with hybrid or remote work options and the opportunity to work with a collaborative team on diverse projects in residential, commercial land development, and renewable energy sectors.
Responsibilities:
* Lead a team in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing site plans and construction documents.
* Review survey data using advanced technology and software.
* Analyze site conditions, legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easements, and condo documents.
* Manage survey crews, technicians, and office staff.
* Oversee large-scale ALTA surveys related to solar or wind projects.
* Assist with construction services, permit applications, and document organization.
* Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software effectively.
* Participate in training, conferences, and networking events.
* Mentor staff, assist with training, and support professional development.
* Motivate staff through recognition and rewards.
Qualifications:
* Professional Survey License or ability to obtain one.
* 8+ years of survey industry experience.
* Experience coaching and developing teams.
* Proficiency with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
* Strong understanding of boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, construction staking, and related areas.
