Job Title: Rural Midwife Specialist
This role requires a qualified and experienced midwife to provide high-quality care to patients in rural Western Australia.
About the Role:
* The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based midwifery care for clients within the scope of practice of a midwife.
* To provide clinical supervision for newly qualified midwives and students, depending on level of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver continuity of midwifery care throughout the continuum of pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period.
* Provide competent, holistic, evidence-based midwifery care within the scope of a midwife, within a caseload model of care (known as Midwife Group Practice).
Requirements:
* A valid working visa or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia.
* Compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, standards, and legislation including Confidentiality and Work Health and Safety policies is mandatory.
