Role Overview
This role focuses on designing and implementing efficient software systems, data ingestion pipelines, and configuration management processes. The successful candidate will drive mission system performance and availability through the application of automation tools and modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engineering Control: Implement control processes to ensure mission system performance and availability.
* Software Design & Build: Collaborate in the design and implementation of software systems using automation tools and modern DevOps practices.
* Data Integration: Deploy and operate data ingestion pipelines and configure workflow management systems.
* Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts for provisioning, configuring, and managing systems efficiently and reliably.
* Platform Operations: Monitor, maintain, and optimize infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and security.
* Deployment & Delivery: Support the creation of CI/CD pipelines, building releases, and enabling smooth delivery of applications and services.
* Security & Compliance: Integrate security best practices into infrastructure workflows, including secrets management, access control, and compliance automation.
* Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Write clear technical documentation to support operational excellence and team collaboration.
* Collaboration: Work closely with architects and engineers across disciplines to deliver and improve platform capabilities.
