The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to bring design to life through clean, maintainable, high-quality code that performs well and ships on time. This role is central to the successful delivery of Shopify Plus storefronts, helping ensure solutions are fit for purpose, aligned to client expectations, and built to a high technical standard.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Building high-quality front-end solutions for Shopify Plus projects, with a focus on performance, usability, and clean execution.
* Translating UX/UI designs into polished, responsive, and accessible digital experiences.
* Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during development and after launch.
* Participating in code reviews and contributing to consistent development standards across the team.
* Working closely with developers and Delivery Managers to unblock work, support delivery flow, and keep projects moving smoothly.
* Acting as a key point of contact for technical escalations within assigned projects and helping resolve issues in a timely, practical way.
* Documenting technical decisions, components, and implementation details to support handover and knowledge sharing.
* Contributing to stronger coding practices, reusable solutions, and continuous improvement across the development team.
* Supporting project planning through accurate task estimation, early identification of risks, and clear technical input.
* Coaching developers through feedback, collaboration, and day-to-day technical support.
* Helping foster a positive, high-performing team culture built on quality, accountability, and shared learning.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in a senior front-end development role, ideally within a digital agency, eCommerce, or fast-paced client services environment.
* Strong experience building and delivering high-quality front-end solutions for Shopify or Shopify Plus.
* The ability to translate design into production-ready code with a high level of attention to detail.
* Strong problem-solving skills and confidence working through complex technical challenges.
* Experience contributing to code quality through peer reviews, mentoring, and shared technical standards.
* The ability to work collaboratively with designers, developers, and delivery professionals across multiple projects.
* Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and contribute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* A solid understanding of front-end performance, accessibility, maintainability, and best practice in modern eCommerce delivery.
