Your new company
Join a Queensland Government team delivering major infrastructure projects across Central Queensland. These roles focus on transport initiatives that improve connectivity and safety. You'll contribute to community engagement and stakeholder management to ensure projects meet public needs and expectations.
Your new role
We have multiple contract opportunities available:
AO4 Program Engagement Officer
* Support program delivery through effective communication, correspondence management, and community engagement planning. Assist with newsletters, social media content, and stakeholder liaison.
AO5 Project Engagement Advisor
* Provide strategic communication and engagement advice for transport projects. Develop engagement strategies, manage media enquiries, and coordinate community events and displays.
AO6 Senior Project Engagement Advisor
* Lead stakeholder engagement for major infrastructure projects. Deliver high-level communication strategies, manage complex issues, and provide expert advice to project leadership teams.
What you'll need to succeed
* Strong experience in stakeholder engagement and communications.
* Ability to develop and implement engagement strategies and communication materials.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Knowledge of media management and issues resolution.
* AO6 role requires at least 5 years' experience in external stakeholder engagement.
* Current C Class Driver's Licence and ability to pass a criminal history check.
* Tertiary qualifications in communications or related discipline are highly regarded.
