This role will suit a self-motivated highly organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
You will be at the forefront of the customer journey from booking in vehicles to liaising with the customer until the job is done.
A good understanding ofautomotive mechanical concepts is a must to ensure you are able to fully discuss repair and service requirements with customers.You may be an experienced Advisor working in the automotive / earthmoving / industrial area – or maybe you are a mechanic wanting to move off the tools and into an office-based role.This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday 8am - 5pm with a Saturday 8am – 12pm roster.Duties & ResponsibilitiesScheduling and maintaining the bookings diary.Updating and communicating with customers on a regular basis.Raising and quoting repair orders.Computing costs, maintaining bill of materials and calculating rates for parts and serviceMaintaining accurate records for all warranty work and repair orders ensuring that warranty / replacement parts are stored as per manufacturer requirementsPreparations of a variety of reports with productive communication to the various stakeholders of the departmentAssisting the wider service team with various duties to ensure the departments continue to exceed customer expectationsFinalising work orders and preparing Invoices.Skills & ExperienceTrade qualification or demonstrated industry experience preferredStrong interpersonal, communication and organisational skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent attention to detail, mathematic ability and customer focusExceptional computer literacy and sound organisational skillsAn ability to work autonomously and as a teamWhat's in it for YOUOngoing training and development giving you the opportunity, giving you the opportunity to build a long and successful career in the industryWork with iconic & reputablebrandsOnsite parkingOpportunities to support community partnerships with our Group CMV FoundationEnjoy monthly staff lunches, annual company dinners and Christmas eventsImprove yourwellbeingwith our CMV Care platform including access to discounted fitness, income and health insurance programs as well asfree monthly onsite Myotherapy treatmentsAt Hallam Truck Centre, we believe our people are our greatest asset.
