About the role
We are seeking a two talented and passionate Chef to join our team at cafe 63' in Gladstone QLD 4680. As a full-time Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious meals that showcase our commitment to quality and innovation. What you'll be doing
* Preparing and cooking a diverse menu of high-quality dishes using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
* Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation
* Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
* Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
* Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers
* Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies
* Participating in menu planning and development
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Chef in a similar hospitality environment
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety and kitchen operations
* Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes
* Relevant qualifications in Culinary Arts or a related field
