Senior Anaesthesia Expert
A dynamic anaesthetist is sought to join our team in a state-of-the-art hospital located on Queensland’s coast. This opportunity offers a brilliant tropical lifestyle with relocation support, as well as a total remuneration package.
The selected candidate will deliver high-quality anaesthetic services across a broad case mix (elective and emergency), support the Clinical Director with service planning, patient safety, and quality improvement, teach and supervise Registrars, Provisional Fellows, PHOs, JMOs, and Interns, contribute to research, audit, and multidisciplinary service development.
Scope of Practice
* Provide services for orthopaedics, trauma, general surgery, gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, ENT, dental, ECT, and endoscopy.
* Operate pre-assessment clinic, acute pain service, obstetric epidural service, trauma, and cardiac arrest team support.
About You
* FANZCA or ANZCA SIMG assessment: Substantially Comparable
* Broad anaesthesia experience, including emergency and paediatrics
* Collaborative team player with strong leadership and communication skills
* Commitment to patient safety, continuous improvement, and teaching
