Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate Injury Management Consultant to join our team in Osborne Park. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of our business by providing comprehensive injury management and return-to-work services to our clients. You will work closely with employers, employees, healthcare providers, brokers, and insurers to achieve successful return to work outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
In this diverse role, you will have the freedom and independence to structure your own workday, completing the following:
* Conduct initial assessments and develop individualised injury management plans.
* Coordinate and monitor return-to-work programs, ensuring they are aligned with medical advice and workplace requirements.
* Liaise with healthcare providers, insurers, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
* Complete a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline specific allied health skills, such as Worksite Assessments, Vocational Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.
* Provide education and support to clients regarding injury prevention and management strategies.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all cases and activities.
* Regular travel to attend appointments.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Psychology, or related field, with relevant registration I.e. ESSA, AHPRA.
* Understanding of the workers' compensation legislation and return-to-work processes.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong organisational skills and time-management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Hold a valid Australian Drivers License.
