**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Building Services group, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mechanical design expertise on single and multi-disciplinary projects, delivering best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time, taking lead on small to medium size engineering design projects and supporting larger projects, communicating effectively with all external and internal stakeholders and project teams, being a supporting figure and mentor for lesser experienced engineers, building solid client relationships and recognizing business development opportunities, representing and promoting the business with the local and regional markets.
**Requirements**
* Hold a recognized Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
* Demonstrated expertise in designing mechanical services systems (air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems).
* Have the ability to coordinate and understand relevant building services disciplines, including Electrical, Hydraulic, Fire Protection, and Environmentally Sustainable Design.
* Proven project experience in the building services sector across a range of large projects.
* Possess a working knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
* Ensure registration (or eligibility for registration) in the professional engineer register of the relevant state for the building/construction industry.
* Demonstrate a history of effectively managing competing priorities, prioritizing work, and meeting tight deadlines.
