Join HCDC as a Separation Support | Referral Services Coordinator and help those in High-Conflict Separations.
Are you passionate about helping people navigate complex separations and divorces? Do you have experience in sales, family law, crisis support, client services or have possibly been through your own separation? The High Conflict Divorce Center (HCDC) is looking for a dedicated Referral Services Coordinator to manage the intake of our clients and connect them with the right legal, psych and financial support services.
A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in sales, family law, crisis support, client services, or personal separation experience is required.
About the Role
As a Referral Services Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for individuals going through high-conflict separations, parental alienation, false allegations, and intervention orders (IVOs / AVO's / DVO's). Your role is to listen, assess their situation, and provide clear next steps, including booking them in for support services and legal referrals.
Clients will come to us sometimes in distress or they will make a request for us to contact them, seeking guidance. You'll need strong emotional intelligence, active listening skills, and the ability to calm and direct them toward the best solutions.
About half of our clients are Men and as such you must be able to demonstrate a non gendered approach and empathy for everyone going through what is the hardest part of their life.
What You'll Do
* Answer inbound calls or respond to call requests from clients facing high-conflict separations, custody issues, and false allegations.
* Assess client needs and determine the best service options (legal referrals, psychological support, coaching, or financial guidance).
* Explain processes related to IVOs, family court, and financial settlements (without giving legal advice).
* Book consultations with legal, psychological, and coaching professionals.
* Manage follow-ups and ensure clients get the support they need.
* Handle emotionally charged conversations with professionalism and empathy.
