CSIRO is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our Synthetic Traits group as a Research Project Support Officer.

The successful candidate will support dynamic research teams with laboratory and glasshouse activities, primarily managing plant supply, maintaining plants in growth cabinets and glasshouses, and preparing media.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with general knowledge of lab operations and good data management skills to contribute to real impact projects that benefit Australian agriculture.

We are looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary research team, assisting staff with allocated tasks and contributing to the success of the project.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Maintaining plant material in growth cabinets and glasshouses, sampling, and recording data.

* Performing routine experimental tasks under general supervision.
">
* Assisting in establishing experiments, monitoring, summarising, and recording results.
">

You will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with researchers and other stakeholders.
