Job Summary:
The Medical Oncologist will provide high-quality, evidence-based patient-centered specialist medical oncology services within a clinical network. The role supports strategic goals by improving cancer outcomes, reducing inequities, and fostering collaborative care.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the development of cancer care services
* Facilitate a culture of learning and best practice
* Develop medical oncology research and clinical trials
* Participate in quality improvement and governance activities
* Provide training to clinicians across multiple disciplines
Requirements
* Registered with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Medical Oncologist
* Demonstrated experience in high-quality medical oncology services
* Commitment to teaching and supervisor training
* Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
* Experience in and commitment to relevant research
* Ability to adapt to digital transformation initiatives
* Availability for on-call roster and site response
