400 N Frontage Rd, North Haven, CT 06473, USA Req #1076Friday, January 17, 2025Position Overview:As the Inside Sales Associate, you will be responsible for directing communications via telephone, email, etc. with Bozzuto’s Inc sales accounts regarding their needs, recording their orders, and ensuring that the quality and quantity of the products purchased are 100% accurate.Responsibilities:Working with all assigned account representatives to procure orders on a day-to-day basisHandling all assigned account-related inquiries and problems – offering appropriate resolutionsUpselling new products to customers to increase sales growthUnderstanding customer needs and recommending appropriate productsWorking closely with the sales team to align strategies and campaignsPartnering with assigned areas of the distribution center on a day-to-day basis to ensure code dates and product rotation are within company standardsProviding feedback on customer preferences, challenges, and market trendsPrioritizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously ensuring deadlines are met accordinglyContacting prospective customers to introduce products and build rapportTracking progress and following up on leads to ensure timely closure of dealsArticulating product features, benefits, and value propositions to customersBuilding and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholdersPerforming other duties as assigned by leadershipWork Environment:Warehouse Office – approx. 65F – 70FWarehouse Perishable – approx. 26F – 60FSchedule:Monday – FridayFlexibility to travel to retail stores – 25%Experience:Preferred: Three (3) – five (5) years retail or wholesale produce experience or related experiencePreferred: Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite, AS 400, WMS, etc.Skills:Physical Abilities: Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout your day; walking on a variety of flooring such as carpet, concrete, tile, etc.Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basisOrganizational Skills: Ability to fulfill executive directions in a timely manner; ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesTeamwork: Ability to work independently and as a team playerQuality: Maintain integrity and high standards from all perspectivesSafety Culture: Maintain and drive safety policies; driving for accountability of safe practices throughout shift
