A prominent Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to support a major transformation program by bridging business needs with technical solutions and driving delivery excellence.
The successful Senior Technical Business Analyst will be engaged on an initial 12-month contract, with the option for a 12-month extension, and flexible hybrid work arrangements based in Sydney or Melbourne.
The successful Senior Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Analysing and translating business needs into meaningful technical requirements, including business, functional, and non-functional specifications.
- Collaborating with business SMEs and IT teams to deliver effective technology solutions that improve business processes.
- Leading workshops and stakeholder discussions to elicit and document requirements using Agile delivery methodology and user stories.
- Creating user interface designs in line with User Centric Design (UCD) and Australian Government accessibility standards.
The successful Senior Technical Business Analyst will have experience in the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile delivery methodology.
- Proven experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management using industry-standard tools.
- Strong skills in process modelling (BPMN), data analysis, and solution assessment.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities within complex IT environments.
