Job Description
We are seeking a clinical pharmacist to join our team in Bunbury, Western Australia. As a clinical pharmacist, you will play a vital role in promoting safe, rational, and cost-effective drug therapy by providing clinical pharmacy services for hospital patients throughout the South West region.
Your primary responsibilities will include medication reconciliation for admitted hospital patients, monitoring the patient's total medication profile, dispensing medications to patients, providing drug information to nursing and medical staff, and making independent decisions on therapeutic strategies to optimize patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
* Postgraduate qualifications or experience in clinical pharmacy
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy in Western Australia
