About the Role
As a Retail Assistant at WHSmith, you will be responsible for:
* Provide outstanding customer service with a friendly and helpful attitude.
* Processing purchases accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
* Replenishing stock, merchandise displays, and ensuing the store is clean and well presented.
* Assisting customers with product enquiries and offering recommendations.
The Successful Candidate
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
* Prior experience in a fast paced retail environment.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow.
* Availability to work 1 weekend shift per week and early morning shifts or evening shifts throughout the week.
