 
        
        About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and engaging Production Supervisor to join the masonry team located in Middle Swan. The role works alongside and supervises the Fixed Plant Production Operators, Shift Supervisors and Yard Staff ensuring their duties are completed in a safe and efficient manner for the effective operation of the masonry manufacturing process. This leadership role provides support and training to fixed plant operators as and when required.
Your role will include:
 * Work with Shift Supervisors to monitor prestart checks of machinery to ensure any machinery problems are addressed.
 * Ensure production machinery and equipment is being operated in a safe and responsible manner.
 * Understand and follow all operational and isolation procedures and ensure they are understood and adhered to by Leading Hands and fixed plant operators and visitors to the production area.
 * Monitor equipment and immediately stop if any mechanical, or production problem occurs
 * Liaise with maintenance staff to ensure regular maintenance, servicing and repairs are completed.
 * Overseeing quality control and minimizing waste.
 * Conducting toolbox meetings etc.
Skills and Experience:
 * Demonstrated experience in a leadership position in a manufacturing or production facility;
 * Previous knowledge and experience in paver manufacturing (highly desirable);
 * Strong knowledge of a range of machinery
 * Certificate IV in WHS (Highly Desirable)
 * WA High Risk licence Class LF (Preferable);
 * Demonstrated safety leadership experience;
 * Strong Communication and leadership skills and ability to motivate a work team;
 * Awareness of surrounds to identify changes in conditions
