- Requires: Qualified Primary School Teacher with expertise in special needs education and leadership experience.
- Salary guide: circa $125,000 per annum.
- Location: south-western suburbs of Sydney.
Your normal day will involve:
- Supporting students with diverse learning needs including disabilities, ASD, ADD/ADHD, low literacy/numeracy, and mental illness.
- Personalising curriculum adjustments aligned to NCCD guidelines and embedding Individual Learning Plans in teaching.
- Providing timely assessment, feedback, and student progress reporting.
- Implementing trauma-informed behaviour management and fostering positive student relationships.
- Designing and leading school-wide wellbeing and behaviour interventions and Student Services programs handling.
- Collaborating with staff, external specialists, students, and families to enable effective education and support pathways.
- Coordinating targeted small-group interventions and mentoring for teaching staff.
