ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in community health. We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at the Wollongong Clinic, New South Wales (The Dharawal People), on a Permanent Full-Time basis, working 38 hours per week.
DUTIES
Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of clinical and administrative services, including but not limited to:
Providing high level nursing care with the ability to work autonomously
Patient triage and assessment
Administering vaccinations and providing travel health consultations
Coal Board Medical Screening - Previous experience highly regarded
Monitoring & maintaining stock levels
Maintenance & sterilisation of all equipment
Ensuring compliance with the Department of Health & Human Services Protocols
General administration duties
Phlebotomy and specimen collection
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As the successful candidate you will hold a current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. In addition, you will have:
? Current First Aid Certification and CPR Certification - Required
? Certificate in Phlebotomy - Required
? Current Working with Children Check - Required
? Coal Board experience - High desirable
? Current Immunisation Certificate - Desirable
