Your responsibilities will include: Management of all aspects of the financial accounts (monthly, quarterly, annual), including preparing and reviewing; Financial planning, analysis, management and reporting of the budgeting & forecasting process; Manage the daily banking and cash management, including accounts payable and receivables and relevant reconciliations; Work closely with the enterprise managers to develop working budget models that are both meaningful and measurable; Fixed asset management, including insurance, finance, and asset registers; and Assisting with statutory reporting, auditor enquiries, invoicing, purchase orders and enquiries from various departments across the group. About you: To be successful in the role, you will have the necessary experience, motivation and a desire to work in the agriculture sector together with: A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar; A strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements with experience in financial reporting, analysis & ERP systems; Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and managing conflicting priorities; and The ability to be reliable, conscientious and motivated. Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to focus on driving operational efficiencies, manage project budgets, provide financial reporting to senior leadership and work with the established processes.
